미국 도로교통안전국에 올라오는 사고 리포트 중에 신기한 리포트 올라왔습니다

사건은 작년 11월 19일 발생했는데 주행중에 탑숭중인 승객이 문을 열고 나왔고 

웨이모는 즉시 운행을 중단.. 도망가지 못하고 바퀴에 발이 깔린 상태로 웨이모가 긴급정지했습니다

외부 도움으로 차량을 견인하기 전까지 바퀴에 깔려 부상을 당했다네요 ㅎㅎ

On November 19, 2025 at 12:02 AM MT a Waymo Autonomous Vehicle ("Waymo AV") operating in Scottsdale, Arizona was in a collision involving a passenger of the Waymo AV on N. 92nd Street near E. Cochise Drive.

The Waymo AV was travelling northbound in the left lane of N. 92nd Street. While the AV was in  motion, the two passengers seated in the rear of the Waymo AV removed their seatbelts and opened the right rear passenger side door. The Waymo AV detected the opened door and began to slow in lane. While the Waymo AV was slowing to a stop, the passenger seated in the right rear passenger seat exited the vehicle through the open door, placed their feet on the ground, and the rear right tire of the Waymo AV came to a stop on top of the passenger's right foot. The Waymo AV remained stopped on top of the passenger's foot until emergency services arrived and lifted the right side of the vehicle. At the time of the impact, the Waymo AV's Level 4 ADS was engaged in autonomous mode. The passenger of the Waymo AV was transported from the scene to a hospital for medical treatment with moderate injuries to the foot.

Waymo is reporting this crash under Request No. 1 of Standing General Order 2021-01 because an individual involved was transported from the scene to a hospital for medical treatment and a vulnerable road user was struck by an involved vehicle. Waymo may supplement or correct its reporting with additional information as it may become available.

2025년 11월 19일 오전 12:02(MT), 애리조나주 스코츠데일의 E. Cochise Drive 인근 N. 92nd Street에서 운행 중이던 웨이모 자율주행 차량(Waymo AV)이 웨이모 승객과 관련된 충돌 사고를 일으켰습니다.

해당 웨이모 자율주행 차량은 N. 92nd Street의 왼쪽 차로에서 북쪽 방향으로 주행 중이었습니다. 차량이 이동하는 동안, 뒷좌석에 앉아 있던 두 명의 승객이 안전벨트를 풀고 오른쪽 뒷좌석 문을 열었습니다. 웨이모 자율주행 차량은 열린 문을 감지하고 차로 내에서 감속하기 시작했습니다. 차량이 멈추기 위해 속도를 줄이는 동안, 오른쪽 뒷좌석에 앉아 있던 승객이 열린 문을 통해 차량에서 하차하며 발을 지면에 디뎠고, 웨이모 자율주행 차량의 오른쪽 뒷타이어가 승객의 오른발 위에서 멈췄습니다. 웨이모 자율주행 차량은 응급 서비스가 도착하여 차량의 오른쪽을 들어 올릴 때까지 승객의 발 위에 멈춰 있었습니다. 충돌 당시, 웨이모 자율주행 차량의 레벨 4 ADS는 자율주행 모드로 작동 중이었습니다. 해당 웨이모 승객은 현장에서 병원으로 이송되어 발에 중등도의 부상을 입고 치료를 받았습니다.

웨이모는 관련자가 의료 처치를 위해 현장에서 병원으로 이송되었고 교통 약자가 관련 차량에 치였기 때문에, 일반 명령(Standing General Order) 2021-01의 요청 제1호에 의거하여 이 사고를 보고합니다. 웨이모는 추가 정보가 가용해짐에 따라 보고 내용을 보완하거나 수정할 수 있습니다.
