A group of Kobolds had been following her around, worshipping her, and had become really annoying. She asked us to go and 'have a word' with them. |

MESSAGE IN A KOBOLD: The Emissary Gather some gifts to impress the Kobold Emissary, so he will listen to your request to leave Emperina in peace. [ Gather Shiny Rocks and Eyeballs to impress him ( Kobolds LOVE eyeballs ). ] It seemed like the Kobolds weren't going to change their mind about their 'Goddess', Emperina.So we thought we'd try something clever - perhaps setting the Kobolds an impossible task to please their 'Goddess', might change their minds.

VALED THREATS: The Impossible Dream Emperina has asked the Kobolds to bring her 1000 magical herbs from Pan's Vale - an impossible task that she hopes will discourage them. But just to make sure, I volunteered to collect as many as I could first! [ Defeat enemies in Pan's Vale and collect Magical Herbs. ] We learned one thing - never underestimate the determination of a Kobold to NOT change his mind! The next step seemed to be learning a bit more about Kobolds. We traveled to Silverglade to speak with their scholars. CRYSTAL CLEAR: Crystal Summons We went to talk to wise Krystenax to ask what he could tell us about Kobolds. His herald requested that we bring a suitabld offering. [ Defeat enemies and collect Blue Crystals for Krystenax's gift. ] We never really thought about this, but Kobolds were part Goblin, part Naga, with another part that desperately wanted to be a dragon.We headed to the Underworld to see if the Setauri would speak with us about THEIR Gods.

GLADIATOR!: Setauri Gods We traveled to the Underworld, to learn about the Naga Gods of the Setauri - perhaps one of them would suit the Kobolds. Of course it was the Underworld, so there was bound to be combat. [ Defeat enemies and gather Lore Scrolls to learn about Setauri Gods. ] The Setauri Gods were honestly a little bit deranged and violent for Kobolds, so we thought the Goblins might be a better match.We headed to Zaejin immediately.

OF GODS & GOBLINS: Gods Must Be Crazy Perhaps Goblin Gods would be a better solution for the Kobolds. We decided to help the priests of Zaejin, in exchange for some information about their Gods. [ Defeat the Goblins' enemies, and collect Goblin Jewels and Treasure. ] Goblin Gods were just plain silly.Kobolds didn't seem to need a REAL God anyway, so we figured the folk of Hellcrag might be able to suggest something appropriately large, and mildly Daemonic.

THE STONE’S SORCERER: Something Impressive Things were progressing well in Hellcrag - the city was being rebuilt. I offered to help them in exchange for some advice on Kobolds. [ Defeat Daemons and collect Hellstone to help rebuild. ] The folk of Hellcrag had a great suggestion - the Eagle Daemon, Vrawk, might be just what the Kobolds needed.We journeyed into the Blighted Lands to find one.

EAGLE VRAWK: At the Crossroads We needed to find a Vrawk Daemon! The best way would be to lay out some bait and try to lure one. [ Defeat enemies and collect Bait. ] So, it turns out that the Kobolds weren't impressed by the Vrawk at all - in fact they ate it.We needed to find something larger. Emperina suggested a Sea Monster, so off we went to Merlantis.

MONSTEROUS MESS: Servant of the Seas Luring Daemons was one thing; luring Sea Monsters would be something else entirely! [ Defeat enemies and collect Monster Bait and Treats. ] Nope.Apparently Sea Monsters are also really good eating. With a posse of portly Kobolds behind us, we began a journey through Zhul'Kari towards Karakoth. Maybe there was an Elder God somewhere that impressive and NOT quite so tasty.

LEGEND OF THE SEEKRA: Zhul'Kari Journey ZKhul'Kari was never a pleasant place to pass through, but we finally emerged in Karakoth. Ferit told us (in his unique way) of an Elder Dragon God, so we set out in search of its disciples.

ELDRITCH ENGAGEMENTS: The Elder God Search for the Elder God and its Disciples in Karakoth - hopefully THIS will please the Kobolds. Summoning Stones will help us call the God. [ Defeat enemies and gather Offerings and Summoning Stones. ] At last! It turns out, if you're a Kobold, that the only thing better than a real Dragon, is a Dragon with Tentacles.The Kobolds were happy, Emperina was happy, and we accompanied her back to Khaziel for a well-earned rest.
