LEONINE CROWN

It had been some time since the rebellion in the Leonis Empire; its emperor, Khorvash, had fled and had not been seen for many years. Most thought him dead. 

So it was with much suspicion that I received a letter from the missing emperor, inviting me to meet him in Blackhawk.

ANCHORS AWEIGH: Imperial Summons

Khorvash told me he could no longer bear a life in exile - his destiny was to return to his homeland and rule it. 

I agreed to help him. 

We set out to cross the Wild Plains and eventually talk with Baihu the divine tiger in Shentang.

FIRE AND THE FLAMES: Wild Ways

As always, the Wild Plains were an adventure! 

But we eventually made it across to the mountains of Shentang. 

We would need to travel west to seek out Baihu, the White Tiger of the west.

TIGER KING: Into the West

Baihu offered sage advice. 

He told Khorvash to seek the Maraji Crown - the crown of the true emperor of his lands. 

It was lost long ago after Scorpius' fall, but it could be found broken in two in the Drifting Sands and the Sin of Maraj.

THE PRICKLY PAIR: Buried Treasure

One part of the crown had been recovered. 

The second part was in the Sin of Maraj, jealously guarded by the Envy Daemons. 

Fortunately it was only short journey there.

GREEN EYED MONSTER: Crown Jewels

We now had both parts of the crown, but reforging it was no simple task. 

We set off towards Silverglade to seek help from the High Elven Forgemistresses. 

They had forged the original crown, and only they would be able to repair it.

ARTS & CRAFTS: Crowning Glory

The crown was reforged. 

Khorvash renamed it the Leonine Crown - a new name for a new beginning. 

Now it was time to raise an army to take the throne, and what better place to start than the Hall of Guardians and the paladins of Whitehelm.

HELPING HANDS: Allies of Stone

The key to forging an alliance with whitehelm was to prove our valor against its ancient guardians. 

We descended to the underworld to face them in theirmighty hall.

[Defeat the 6 guardians and gather their favors to prove your skill.]

First the Guardians, then all of Whitehelm, joined Khorvash's army. 

We decided to travel to Sword's Edge next and meet with Ulf Harrigan, commander of the Wolf Knights. 

Luther believed he would be most influential in bringing the other knightly orders into Khorvash's ranks.

THE WOLF AND I: Brothers in Arms

Ulf Harrigan was sympathetic to our cause,but we'd need to help the knights of Sword 's Edge fight off a threat from ghulvania before they would join us.

[Defeat ghulvania undead and take fangs and skulls as trophies to show Ulf.]

Ulf agreed to join us, and soon the other knightly orders joined us too - even the Knights Coronet. 

Our next stop would be the Pridelands - Khorvash had organised a rendezvous with Second Claw Anhur, an exiled member of his old Pride Guard. 

If the Pride Guard could be reformed, the fallen emperor believed we would be unstoppable.

PROUD AS PUNCH: Changing the Guard

There was only one way to impress the Raksha - Tau had taught me this  - and that was to fight the biggest, fiercest, meanest things you could find.

It was , after all, how Khorvash's ancestors had allied with the Raksha centuries ago, creating the Pride Guard.

[Defeat Dragons in the nearby mountains, and collect their hearts to show your might.]

The Pride Guard joined us! 

All that remained was to march on the city of Leothasa, beneath Khorvash's banner, and face the Regent who had replaced him, and the evil Dao who was the true power behind the throne.

ROCKY HORROR: Revolution

We marched into the Leonis Empire, towards the towers of Leothasa, ready to face the treacherous Regent Khalif, and the Dao who controlled him.

[Defeat the forces of the Dao, and collect Loyalty to win back the empire.]

We were victorious, and the leaders of the the allied factions attended a magnificent coronation. 

Khorvash was once again named Emperor of the Leonis Empire, and he now wore th newly-reforged Leonine Crown.
